The Double Action CO₂ Pack combines two complementary technologies to combat mosquitoes.
The HexaTrap CO₂ Capture attracts mosquitoes from a distance by releasing carbon dioxide that mimics human breath.
The HexaCatch traps then target another stage in the mosquito’s life cycle: reproduction.
Attracting mosquitoes from a distance
Mosquitoes detect the carbon dioxide we exhale when we breathe.
The HexaTrap CO₂ Capture replicates this signal through the controlled release of CO₂. Mosquitoes detect this signal and head towards the trap.
Once they are nearby, the trap’s other signals take over to ensure they are captured.
Targeting mosquito reproduction
HexaCatch traps attract female mosquitoes when they are looking for a place to lay their eggs.
When they enter the trap, they are caught on the adhesive sheet.
By capturing the females before they lay their eggs, it is possible to gradually reduce the mosquito population.
A comprehensive solution for the garden
By combining these two traps, the Double Action CO₂ Pack targets two key stages in the mosquito’s life cycle:
