Accepted payment methods
We accept the following payment methods on hexatrap.com:
- Credit cards: Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard
- PayPal
- Google Pay and Apple Pay
- Cofidis instalment plan: 3 or 4 interest-free instalments — available on purchases of €180 or more
Payment security
The security of your bank details is ensured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. Your transactions are processed by our payment provider, Monetico Retail, a solution from the CIC – Crédit Mutuel group. HexaTrap never stores your credit card details.
Payment by alias
For orders involving a subscription or the exchange of CO₂ gas cylinders, your bank details are securely stored by Monetico Retail in the form of an alias (token). This card token enables:
- automatic collection of your subscription payments at the frequency you have chosen;
- to collect any penalties should an empty cylinder not be returned within the specified time limit.
HexaTrap never sees your full card number. You can update your card details via your customer account at any time.
Cofidis instalment payments
Payment in 3 or 4 instalments at no extra cost is not available in the following cases:
- Subscription to a service (recurring delivery of consumables)
- Purchase of CO₂ gas refills (full-for-empty exchange scheme)
For these products, only one-off payment by credit card or PayPal is accepted.
Instalment payments are offered by Cofidis SA (RCS Lille Métropole 325 307 106), subject to assessment and approval of your application. You have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for your credit agreement.
Invoicing and payment issues
- Prices are displayed in euros, both inclusive and exclusive of VAT.
- Your invoices can be downloaded from your customer account.
- A confirmation email is sent to you automatically after each order.
If your bank rejects a payment, your order will be put on hold. Please contact our customer service team at hello@hexatrap.com to resolve the issue as soon as possible. HexaTrap reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of an unresolved previous payment dispute.
