Trap packs

Why use several mosquito traps?

The presence of mosquitoes around a house often depends on several factors: vegetation, areas of standing water, the layout of the garden or the size of the property.

In many situations, a single trap is not always sufficient to cover the entire area. Using several traps, on the other hand, allows you to target the areas where mosquitoes are present more effectively and improve the overall efficiency of trapping.

HexaTrap mosquito trap packs have been designed to suit these set-ups: a house with a garden, a large flat, a terrace or a large plot of land.

Adjust the number of traps to suit your home

Depending on the layout of your home, installing several traps may be recommended.

For example:

• indoors: allow one trap per enclosed room
• in a large open space: two traps may be required for areas larger than 30 m²
• in a large garden: several traps allow you to cover different areas.

Installing several traps allows you to cover a larger area and increases the chances of capturing mosquitoes in the environment.

Combining several traps allows you to target the entire mosquito life cycle

HexaTrap packs combine several traps to target different behaviours of the mosquito throughout its life cycle.

Some traps capture female mosquitoes seeking a host to bite, whilst others target those looking for a place to lay their eggs. By intercepting mosquitoes at these key stages, the combination of traps both reduces immediate nuisance and curbs their reproduction.

This approach therefore directly affects the mosquito’s life cycle, gradually reducing the number of new mosquitoes in the environment.

Fewer mosquitoes today… and even fewer tomorrow

By capturing mosquitoes around the home and preventing some of the females from laying eggs, HexaTrap packs help to gradually reduce the mosquito population over the course of several weeks.

The result is twofold:

• fewer mosquitoes straight away, meaning fewer bites
• far fewer mosquitoes in the weeks that follow, thanks to reduced reproduction.

Used throughout the mosquito season, HexaTrap packs help to restore a much more pleasant environment around the house, allowing you to finally enjoy your garden without being bitten.
