When should I choose HexaTrap CO₂ rather than the standard HexaTrap?
HexaTrap CO₂ is especially recommended for large gardens and areas with heavy mosquito pressure: very green gardens, locations near wetlands or places with many tiger mosquitoes. CO₂ increases the trap’s attraction and helps intercept more mosquitoes.
Which CO₂ cylinder should I use?
HexaTrap CO₂ uses a universal connection and works with standard screw-in carbonation cylinders (425 g). It is not compatible with quick-connect clip systems.
How long does a CO₂ cylinder last?
Autonomy depends on the diffusion mode and mosquito pressure. In 24/7 mode, one 425 g cylinder lasts up to 7 days. A typical 3- to 4-month mosquito season requires around 13 to 17 cylinders. The mobile app lets you schedule diffusion during peak mosquito activity; Eco, Comfort and Intense modes extend autonomy while maintaining protection.

The ultimate weapon against mosquitoes
HexaTrap CO₂ Capture is the most advanced mosquito trap in the HexaTrap range. It replicates the key biological signals used by mosquitoes to locate prey: breathing, body odour and visual cues.
This approach attracts mosquitoes before they spot you, then captures them using a suction system specifically designed for their flight behaviour.
A 4-step capture process
1. Long-range detection using CO₂
The trap releases carbon dioxide in a 360° pattern, simulating human breathing. Mosquitoes detect this signal and head towards the source.
2. Visual guidance
As they approach, they spot the trap thanks to its contrasting colours, which act as a visual cue.
3. Olfactory attraction
Once close by, the attractant gel (TP19 biocidal formulation approved by the French National Health Security Agency) replicates the human scent and encourages the mosquitoes to come even closer. Containing no insecticide and requiring no spraying, it works solely through olfactory attraction.
4. Suction and capture
Once in contact with the trap, the mosquitoes are sucked in by a calibrated airflow and remain trapped in the net thanks to the anti-backflow system.

The HexaTrap CO₂ integrates the CO₂ cylinder directly into the body of the trap. No visible hoses or cylinders: a more discreet, better-protected system designed to blend naturally into your garden.

Manage your CO₂ consumption to suit your needs
One of the major advantages of the HexaTrap CO₂ Capture is its ability to adapt CO₂ release to your environment and the level of infestation. You can precisely programme the trap’s operating times and choose between several release modes to optimise both capture efficiency and cylinder life.
In continuous release mode (24 hours a day), a 425 g CO₂ cylinder provides up to 7 days’ battery life. By programming the release to operate only during the periods when mosquitoes are most active, this battery life can be significantly extended: up to 40 days in Eco mode (4 hours a day), 27 days in Comfort mode (6 hours a day) or even 13 days in Intensive mode (12 hours a day).
This smart control system allows you to tailor your protection to suit your lifestyle. For example, you can prioritise summer evenings on the terrace, boost protection during periods of high mosquito activity, or maintain continuous diffusion for maximum effectiveness. A flexible solution that adapts to your needs throughout the season.
