How long does it take to see the first results?
The first results generally appear after 3 to 4 days of use.
The number of mosquitoes visible in the net is not always the best indicator, as some mosquitoes dehydrate and decompose quickly. The most reliable sign is often fewer mosquitoes when you are enjoying your outdoor space.
Can the trap run continuously?
Yes. HexaTrap is designed to run 24 hours a day.
You can also schedule 4-, 6- or 12-hour operating cycles. When mosquito pressure is high, especially when the trap is installed during peak season, we recommend continuous operation to regulate the population more effectively.
How far from the area to protect should I install HexaTrap?
For optimum effectiveness, we recommend placing HexaTrap 5 to 10 metres from the area you want to protect.
The aim is to attract mosquitoes to the trap before they reach your living area. If it is installed too close to you, it may instead attract mosquitoes near the area to protect.

Attract mosquitoes to catch them more effectively
Mosquitoes don’t bite at random. They locate their prey using very specific signals: the smell of skin, sweat, lactic acid…
The HexaTrap exploits this natural behaviour by mimicking the presence of humans, without UV light or insecticide.
The result: tiger mosquitoes and common mosquitoes are drawn to the trap before they even reach the area to be protected.

A 3-step capture process
1. 360° scent diffusion
The attractant gel, placed in a specialised capsule, is diffused by a high-performance ventilation system. It faithfully replicates the human scent to attract mosquitoes.
2. Targeted suction
Once in the vicinity, the mosquitoes are drawn into the trap by a precisely calibrated airflow. The suction is deliberately moderate to target only mosquitoes and spare other insects.
3. Permanent capture
The anti-backflow system prevents any escape. The mosquitoes dehydrate and usually die within 24 hours.
Proven effectiveness, without insecticides
The HexaTrap uses a pesticide-free attractant gel that works solely through olfactory attraction. The product was developed and manufactured in France, and its formulation has been approved by the French National Health Safety Agency (Marketing Authorisation No. FR-2025-0046).
The trap specifically targets tiger mosquitoes (Aedes albopictus) and common mosquitoes (Culex pipiens), two species responsible for the vast majority of nuisance in gardens and around homes.
Unlike chemical solutions, the HexaTrap works continuously without the need for spraying or releasing insecticides into the air.
