Internal pitfalls
Indoor mosquito traps are designed to capture mosquitoes that are already inside the house. Placed in living areas, they attract mosquitoes using light and scent signals and then capture them discreetly. HexaTrap mosquito traps therefore help to minimise the nuisance caused by mosquitoes inside the home and reduce the number of bites both during the day and at night.
Why use a mosquito trap inside the house?
Even when you’re careful about keeping windows closed or using mosquito nets, mosquitoes regularly find their way into the house. Once inside, they can stay for several hours, or even several days, and cause repeated bites.
Indoor mosquito traps allow you to catch these mosquitoes directly in your living areas: the living room, bedroom, study or kitchen. Placed in the room, they attract mosquitoes and then trap them before they can bite.
A discreet solution for living areas
HexaTrap indoor mosquito traps are designed to work effortlessly in a domestic environment.
They are:
- silent
- insecticide-free
- suitable for everyday use in the home.
They are fitted with a UV light, which can be switched on or off, and which attracts not only mosquitoes but also other small flying insects found in the home.
Where should you place an indoor mosquito trap?
For best results, it is recommended that you place the traps on a flat surface in the rooms where mosquitoes are most commonly found.
For example:
- in a bedroom to minimise bites during the night
- in a living room or lounge
- near areas where mosquitoes tend to enter (windows or doors).
In large open spaces or rooms larger than 30 m², it may be necessary to use several devices to maximise the number of mosquitoes caught.
Complete your home’s protection
Indoor mosquito traps capture mosquitoes inside the home. They can be used on their own or alongside outdoor traps set up in the garden.
This combination allows you to take action both:
- outdoors, to limit the number of mosquitoes entering
- indoors, to trap those that have already got in.
The result: fewer mosquitoes in the home and greater comfort in everyday life.
