Role of the trap

HexaSafe is a trap designed to protect the inside of your home against mosquitoes and flying insects.
The trap reproduces certain signals that attract mosquitoes:
  • the odor of human skin thanks to the attractant gel
  • UV light, which attracts certain flying insects
Attracted by these signals, mosquitoes approach the trap and are then sucked into the capture net, where they can no longer escape.
HexaSafe works without insecticides, allowing safe use in rooms of the house.

Trap placement

Trap positioning directly influences its effectiveness.
HexaSafe should be placed in areas where mosquitoes circulate inside the home.
POSITIONING CHECKLIST
  • Install the trap indoors
  • Place the trap on a stable surface (table, shelf, bedside table...)
  • Leave a clear space around the trap to promote air circulation
  • Avoid direct heat sources (radiator, sun behind a window)
  • Install the trap in an area where mosquitoes pass (near a window, a door, or a passageway)
In large rooms or homes with several open rooms, it may be useful to install several HexaSafe traps.

Starting the trap

Trap installation is simple and quick.
Start-up steps:
  • Install the attractant gel refill in the designated compartment
  • Plug the device into power
  • Press the ON/OFF button to start the fan
  • Activate the UV light if needed
The fan diffuses the attractant and creates airflow that draws insects into the capture net.
HexaSafe can run continuously, day and night. The ventilation system is designed to be quiet and energy-efficient, allowing permanent use in living rooms or bedrooms.
Captured insects remain trapped in the net where they naturally dehydrate.

Trap maintenance

Regular maintenance helps maintain the trap's effectiveness.
  • Empty the capture net regularly
  • Clean the net if necessary
  • Replace the attractant gel refill according to the recommended usage duration
Occasional cleaning also helps prevent dust buildup in the system.

Results: what to expect?

HexaSafe acts immediately, but results may become more visible after a few days.

The number of traps depends on the configuration of your home.
    In general:
  • Room under 30m² (bedroom, office) → 1 trap
  • Large room over 30 m² (living room) → 2 traps placed opposite each other
