Running time depends on your programming:
- In 6 h/day mode: approximately 30 days (allow 3 to 4 cylinders for a full summer season).
- In 12 h/day mode: approximately 14 days.
- In 24 h/day continuous mode: approximately 7 days.
As the gas is under pressure, store spare cylinders away from direct sunlight and in a place where the temperature never exceeds 50°C. Never put them in a freezer.
Do not throw it in the bin. Our cylinders are part of an environmentally responsible return network. Log in to your Hexatrap customer area to request an exchange or a free return using the prepaid label.
Mosquitoes locate their target in two stages: from far away, they detect the carbon dioxide (CO₂) we exhale when breathing. At close range, they target the smell of our skin. By releasing CO₂, your trap becomes an irresistible “beacon” that attracts mosquitoes from a very long distance. Tests show that adding CO₂ multiplies the number of mosquitoes captured by five.
